UPDATE: NOW OPEN! - Inglis Self Storage Delayed by Persistent Rain

Facility is now open!

We’re sharing an important update about the opening of Inglis Self Storage. We had planned to open on September 9th and announced that date a few weeks ago on our website and Facebook page, but the final paving work at the site has been delayed for more than 1½ months due to repeated rain interruptions.

The Inglis area has received well above-average rainfall this summer. Some nearby areas recorded approximately 15.6 inches in July alone (roughly double to triple the typical monthly average for the region). Local gauges near Inglis have already measured around 10 inches in August. These frequent wet conditions have made it impossible to complete the paving on schedule.

We’re disappointed by these delays. We were truly looking forward to welcoming you on September 9th. At the same time, we’re hopeful that the weather will cooperate soon so we can finish the paving and then announce a new opening date. Paving is a critical final step that must be done properly for the long-term quality and safety of the facility, so we don’t want to rush it.
